    Hi guys

My m15x went out of warranty some time ago and about a week ago the hinges started playing tricks on me again. Worst part is they did some collateral damage to the front of the laptop (you know, where the Skullcap is located). The damage is that some of the silvery coating had peeled off and right now it's not pretty at all :(
I phoned up Alienware Europe customer support and they told me I could send the laptop for out of warranty repair, however they couldn't guarantee they'll have all the necessary parts. So right now I started looking for alternatives. The CSR mentioned the site ztronics.com, however I couldn't find all the parts I need there (namely the Skullcap back of the laptop)
So my question to you guys is: do you know any other sites that sell Alienware replacement parts?

    Help will be immensely appreciated.

While the Gmask did help, the problem still resurfaced for me.

Please check out this thread, http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=423760 ,where I was able to post a permanent fix for the hinge issue. The problem being that service was done here in Manila.

Most forum members were able to post their DIY fixes as well in that thread as well. Good luck to you

How would this skin option work on a Skull Cap? top? I see how it would be no problem on a Ripley but Skull Cap would be bad.
