I was messing around tonight trying to Overclock my GPU's. Dowloaded the newest ATI Drivers 10.3. And when I go to reset new clocks, It says "Failed, check device configuration"

has anyone else had this? or know how to fix it?

    Thanks

What clocks were you trying overclock? Take it slow and see what the machine can handle and what it can't handle.

or use the AMD GPU tool.... it will only lock the clocks until you reset, but better than nothing. Ran vantage 630/1050

Use this version with the 10.3 drivers and everything works fine. It's what I use.

I got it, it wasnt the driver version. I guess the GPU tool we actually have to use for the 5870.
