Hello to everyone, I was about to buy the Alienware M11x, but I was hoping it had the latest Intel chips i5/i7. I know the c2Duo can be overclocked, but can the graphics care (335m) be overclocked?

I was about to buy this lappy, but then I saw the new Batman teaser/trailer Arkham Asylum 2, or whatever they are calling it.

So I'm deciding to wait and see if the M11x will get an updated graphics card and/or updated Intel chips in the 2nd generation maybe hopefully before winter comes.

It would be nice to play arkham asylum and arkham 2 on this with full high setting on.

What you fellas think? Wait or don't wait and overclock the hell out of it...

Don't think any 11 inch Notebook is gonna be playing any Unreal 3 Engine game on all high. I have heard it does perform well in mostly high and medium though.

    1. There's always something better coming in six months. And six months later there will be something even better coming in another six months. And so on...
    2. The laptop is $1,000. You can get 0% interest for 12 months if you're strapped.
    3. You're not going to find a laptop anywhere close to $1,000 that Batman on high settings. Even the most powerful non-SLI gaming laptops are only about as powerful as a desktop version of the 8800GT. That's an old GPU.

IMO, buy the m11x now, and by the time you have it paid off it will still be worth at least $500. You can put that towards your $3,000 laptop that can play Batman on medium-high with 4xAA/4xAF. :p
