Does anyone here has overclocked their M17 4850? Share your experience here. How much did you overclock? and is it stable?

With all the drama around getting them, I'm surprised if many people actually have them, and then pushed them. I will be interested in following this thread. If only I had one to go along with my 'master' I'd certainly give her a good run. But there is no point in OC'ing just 1, when I have the 3870 x2 system that would beat it anyways.

Anyone want to sell their 4850, so I can make it my 'slave' ? :)

    Single card overclock
one advice, 4850 master is physically different than slave and master card would not fit into slave slot as the master card has extra power tab.

But a 4850 slave CAN work in a Master slot, proven in a thread on here :)

Also, this explains, its only a power tab, so I'm sure the master needs it for the extra juice of being the primary, but a MASTER made to a slave wouldnt need it: http://www.mxm-upgrade.com/Tech_13.html

I am quite happy with stock settings.

Also since the cards get 70c while gaming i feel that they are hot and fast enough and the little bit overclock isnt worth the hassle, especially since my warranty expired and i won't be able to get new ones if they break down.

When I was doing it I flashed the cards. OC'ing through Windows was less stable. Anyway I only OC'ed for benchmarking. Didn't see a reason to leave it OC'ed.
