Has anyone tried to this? Joker?
Obviously there is no BIOS based overclocking, or even system based (like the Asus Power4Gear).
That leaves software overclocking, which as we know is possible.
One place to start may be EVGAs E-Leet program, though I don't know how well it works for non-EVGA motherboards.

I think the cooling is actually better due there only being one GPU and no onboard gpu that gets really hot. The way I see it with 2 GPUs and the same amount of fans the M17x must run hotter.
My palmrest is uneven. Its kinda bubbling up on the right side below the arrow keys. Where the palmrest meets the keyboard area you can push up and down on the palmrest and wiggles. If I run my hand along the joint where the palmrest meets the keyboard its clearly popping up near the arrow keys. It wasnt quite right when I got it but its gotten worse due to my right hand constantly pushing on it. the left side is solid and has no problems. Its not the end of the world but not cool for any laptop for $2k. -
Not a huge thing but would be interested in how to do this. -
e-leet will work with the 920xm only.
Won't oc anything else. -
Nice thx..
thought the 920XM was a "Extreme" proc... and I also thought extreme procs like ones in the M1710 or M1730 etc etc, were overclockable.
rly sux they didnt add a bios option. -
