    Overclocking The 280m Sli On M17x, Help

    i OC my Q9000 at a stable 2.4ghz, but i still want more juice out of this monster, what clocks are safe for the 280m with the nvidia tools, tanks

    yes, but i think it will be better to get the clocks from some one who already oc it with succesfull results, it will save me all of the hassle in testing it

    Unfortunately blaster, it doesn't really work that way. Just like with CPUs, each system in terms of GPU OCing will be different. What one user may find as a stable clock setting, another user using the same settings, may encounter issues. It is best to OC your GPUs using small increments. Test each change you make to ensure its stable. Once you are satisfied, bump it up (again, small increments).

    As a shortcut you can take a look at some of the benchmark posts in the M17x Benchmark thread and pick one to use as a reference point. If you encounter artifacting/issues, bump the clocks down a bit and re-test.

    LOL, tanks anyways, i used some clock settings from some body else probably about +20 MHZ and when i started the laptop, it gave me blue, green screen problems, aggggggrrrrrr, i think mine does not OC

    you need to be more detail. What did you overclock to? And what were you doing. Also what was your temps.
