my CPU-Z tells me my p8600 is running at 2128 mhz instead of 2.26 ghz.
Is the multiplier supposed to be 8.5 instead of 8?

Is CPU-Z broken like RMCLock, or something is wrong with my m17?

You running RMClock? Or been running it since this Vista session? If not.. 2.128 isn't far off of 2.26 - :p But sounds like you lost that .5 multiplier cause of RMClock :) reboot to fix.

Just testing some undervolting now, since my new m17 is coming tomorrow. So I need to do some testing on this one before sending back.

I just start using RMClock. RMClock is known to lose 0.5 multiplier. But CPU-z?

RMClock removes that .5 multiplier, so CPU-z is gonna read what your true clock speed is without it. Which is obviously 2.128 GHz

Yes, I just restarted the laptop, CPUZ is back to 2.26.

So, my finding is RMClock screw up the multiplier even after RMClock is closed.
