    First I was going to get an m15x but I prefered a 17" screen but due to the fact that nobody knows when it's going to get released I'm getting a Clevo.

    Oh.. Another loss to Alienware.. Sigh :(
    It's like a battlefield out here.. Wid those having DC like wounded soldiers.. Those widout like the commanders way back in the tents..
    And AW like the flim flam weapons the soldiers are using.. (No offense intended :p)
    Oh and Clevo/Sager are the enemy chopping at everyone's nuggets.. And by that I mean toes of course ;)

    i think packer should give us another clue...

    the only thing else i can think of is AW finally giving us a real solution to some of the users who still have overheating problems.

    I remember that video before the m15x and m17x were announced. I think it had something to do with solving the puzzle (you know the one written in alien language)

    Yea MAG13 is right.. They used to send each of those years (in the timeline) as an e-mail to all the newsletter subscribers and ask you to work out the alphabets assigned to each of those alien heiroglyphics.. That was from September till November I think.. Then they released that video on the site & launched the m15x and m17x.
    And very few lived happily ever after :p

    Oh and sorry about my looney posts earlier.. Late night frustration causes that :(

    Normally they don't sell to normal customers but my dad will buy it as a company Laptop ^^ It will only take 2 hours to assemble the laptop :D
    The Clevo M570RU-U with the WUXGA (1920x1200), T9300, 8800m GTX, 4GB Ram, 320 GB SATA 5400 RPM, WIFI 802,11 A/B/G/N Intel, Vista Business (it's a laptop for my dad...:wink :) and all the standard stuff.

    I've been looking to buy a new computers since the beginning of 2008 so now it's time to decide.

    You could just wait and wait and wait...

    I know on that site it says GT and not GTX but is going to be the GTX.

    I don't know if there ever was a 15" version of that Clevo.

    Just watched some user videos they put on the US website...

    Why don't they put pictures of cracking cases, severe downclock? Lights that do not work? Gaps above ethernet? Wobly screens and seriously screwed up keyboards?

    The funny thing is that you can see the gap above the Ethernet port in the pictures (on their own site). But I also see a lot of new m15x with no gaps, looks like they fixed this.

    the m15x is already at a pretty good price for what you get. If u look at other high end brands such as falcon northwest or voodoo their prices are much higher. And yes I WANT the m17x to come out already. And black color (even though lime green would be cooler)

    Alienware just started the m15x at $1500, so $1600 will get you a Penryn 2.4GHz and an 8600M GT, then you can upgrade to a faster card in the future (as confirmed by Alienware). Since it only includes 1GB RAM and a 120GB 7200RPM HD, I'd spend another $150 to upgrade those yourself and get a pretty good deal.

    I was contacted by alienware. They said they saw my review on this website and really liked it and would love to call me and ask me some questions. I obviously agreed. We talked for a while and they told me they would be using me for an article. They also said they would send me some free swag!
