because I am considering getting a setup with a 260 GTX card ...

so I'd just tought I'd check out the gaming performance of this GPU before going any further ...

so it all checks out quite well ... not too shabby and not too great either ...

 

get sli. it's worth it.

 

the sli setup are very expensive ... its a little over my budget ...

 

mmm. how much do you have to spend?

 

over here the sli 260 setup will set me back about 4800 bucks ... and thats a lot ...

 

I can buy my system twice for that amount.

 

where are you located.

have you considered the the sager np9850

the sager costs cheaper by only a few hundred dollars ...

ok. so what's the price difference now for them. plus you get the 280m sli instead of the 260m sli.

 

the sli 280 is seriously out of my league ...

let alone the 260 sli ...

which is why i am considering the single 260 option ...

no they won't.

what i am saying that if you are interested in the sager. it comes with 280m standard instead of 260m. and there is a big price difference if you are living outside of the US.

you should compare prices before you jump the gun.

 

well the problem with the sager setup is mainly on the warranty ...

if anything happens to the sager ... i need to ship it all the way back to the US and get it fixed ... which is rather painful on its own ...

 

there's no where in singapore that supports it?

there are a 2 companies in singapore that sells sager ... but because of bad experiences with one of them i rather not buy sager from singapore shops

since the GPU is the main culprit when it comes to getting bottleneckings even before the cpu becomes maxxed out ... I was wondering if anyone knows how many gigahertz into the CPU run before the GPU become bottlenecks ???

Can you order stuff from other U.S. retailers and have it sent to Singapore? Someone up here just put a link to www.samsclub.com has a nice M17x 260sli setup for only $2200. Dont know what shipping and taxes would be like though.

 

they dont ship internationally and they dont accept international credit card payments either ...
