I noticed that firmware version 1.10 was installed on my M17x BD drive, and that a newer version 1.11 was available. http://support.us.dell.com/support/...typeid=-1&dateid=-1&formatid=-1&fileid=338250
I installed the update and can't say I can see any differences, but Dell says the update offers "enhancements", and it is a recommended update.
Anyone know what the enhancements might be?

Also, if you're curious, here are some more details on the drive: http://www.panasonic.com/industrial/computer/storage/optical/models/UJ-235A.asp and http://www.digistor.com/Panasonic-S...3eSc3qPbN0Te34Pa38Ta38Pchn0?sc=2&category=827

It'll be general writing enhancements lower the failure rate of writing disks or something of the sort I would think. Chances are unless the drive was broken before you wont notice the difference from these firmware updates :)
