Phase 6 and then order shipped?

I called AW today and was told that, they were making the order change and then after the order change they will take it to testing, after test was done, they would then ship my laptop. after getting off the phone half an hour late I get an email saying my order has shipped.

I'll call AW tomorrow and see what this is about. hopefully they tested it.
by the way I got the tracking number and I'm Canada. I read somewhere that there were no tracking numbers given to Canadian customers.

Edit: and I just checked the alienware order number changed. is this normal? my previous order number started with a 3, and in the e-mail my order number started with a 5.

 

Its fine no worries, though im not sure about what they do in testing stage in ANY computer factory. Many, almost all computer manufactures sends out lemons. Canadian customers do get a tracking number, i dont think it has anything to do with what country you are in... Go Canada.

 

I received an order number today also, and im also in Canada. Toronto, specifically. Also of note is that i chose the regular 3-5 day delivery service but am being given international priority. My m15x arrives monday at 10:30am.

i have been in phase 6 for like a week

 

it departed from MEMPHIS, TN and its on its way. I called fedex and asked if I could pick it up earlier at the location. but she said that it wont come in before monday. and my time is 12:00 on monday.

I really hope they tested it. or whatever ever they are suppose to do at this stage.

 

yeah, it appears they are now giving their tracking numbers to Canadians (which isn't what happened to me, nor did I even get a shipping confirmation email)

I'm on phase 6 and I only placed my order last thursday. I'm being optimistic that it will ship early. Seems the slowest part that everyone reported is done. how long did everyone take to ship from phase 6? did anyone wait around a long time from this phase on?

 

For me it was a week and a half back in FEB.

 

I was pretty luky made my order april 3 and I will be recieving it tomorrow , I was never on face 6. I went from 3 to 7 in a day. I just hope they did not skip any faces to get it to me faster.

 

Sounds like i might get lucky then. Seems these latter phases and flying by for most people who ordered more recently. Ill keep my fingers crossed.

 

dont hold your breath guys unless you are not in europe,then you might be lucky. i went to phase 6 yesterday for 5 hours but ive been in phase 5 for 22 days now.

 

Yeah sorry to hear that. Im in the US. Doesnt seem to be any inventory issues here.

 

I just hit phase 6. I ordered it on june 8th so its been going by pretty fast. I just hope nothing goes wrong and it sets me back on prior phases. I wouldnt think installing the OS and doing benchmark test would take that long so maybe it will ship next week.

sucks for those of us who ordered more than a week before you, and are still waiting in phase-4, hearing that the chassis are backordered.

Will I waited in phase 3 for over 2 weeks, I got into phase 4 on thursday and now today i'm in phase 5!!! I'm really happy about that
