Does anyone know or have tried enabling physx on ATI cards? I have searched through many links in google about driver "modifications" and so forth to enable it. Anyone try this or have good luck with it? Obviously we m17 owners don't have the option to install a 2nd nvidia card with our crossfire setup as is... Is there any benefit to this at all? I noticed that Wiki lists Dragon's Age as a new physx title. If this is the case I want to try and see if it is possible to get this working.

Any thoughts or opinions are super appreciated!

    Best Wishes,

    Stevenx

NGOHQ.com modders got it to work on the 3870 cards but ATI killed it for the 4000 series cards.

Bullet is currently working on getting hardware accelerated physics for ATI cards.

Theoretically I suppose is possible...but to do it legit, ATI would have to license the tech from nvidia.

I would not worry too much, few games down the road are planning on making use of Physix, unfortunately. Hopefully Dragon Age will really show it off and more developers will start using it.
