    My Computer(Alienware m17x) in windows 7 pro dosent charge battery but when it is shutdown start to charging.what is my problem?.and what can i do?

    What you need to do mazda is remove your battery,then press power button for 20 secs then put your battery back in place.When you powerup you will see it is now charging.

    I'm sure the M17x is similar, but the M15x can disable the battery by pushing Fn+F2. Maybe you triggered that by mistake.

    If FN+F2 isn't resolving, I'd go ahead and flash your BIOS to the A04 release. There were a couple weird battery charging issues resolved by this release. You might also ensure that you don't have anything weird going on in device manager.
