Please M17X/M15X owners, can you guys check this for me?

I'm wondering about getting into the "Allpowerful M17X" but i do some music production and I'm worried about the DPC latency in this notebook as this is made by quanta (dell ODM) and dell's are very know for DPC latency problems (for example a friend need to turn off the WIFI in his dell to get decent DPC latency). So if you guys can run DPC latency checker and post a screenshot it will be highly appreciated

    thx :)

Sorry I can't answer your question.

I think you should have posted this question in the "official" M17X thread. :)

Notebooks latency will differ from one to another.
but I have not seen any issues with the Gen 1 m17x, but the gen 2 m17x is a whole new system.

There was a issue with the m15x on the X34 Bios, but AW fixed this issue in the x36 bios, and was not a problem until the x34 bios.

    I'm talking about M17X and M15X so... :p

Yeah i know but at least i can get a idea of what to expect :D . I don't really think that "high-end notebooks" (at least is what alienwares are supposed to be :p) will have poor motherboard design/poor drivers but when we are talking about "Dell" who knows... :D

Basically it checks latency to access hardware :p .

Yeah... But I'm asking for the DPC latency of the older quanta-alienware models to get a idea of what to expect :p

And its in the topic name :D "Please M17X/ M15X owners, can you guys check this for me?"
