    Ok today I decided to turn my m15x on nto intergrated graphics mode by holding down the right mouse button,

    Ok but know I want to play and fn+f7 will not switch it back, i do however get promted with the "to switch.....a restart is required" anyone familer with this issue.

    ahh... :D you fell for it. starting up with the right mouse button will launch with the IGP, however, it will use the Fn+F7 "setting" from your last normal launch - so if you run the Nvidia, shutdown and start with the right mouse button, and then hit Fn+F7 to switch back, the system will for some reason think you're on the Nvidia, and "switch" to the IGP via rebooting.

    why would you do that? just shut down normally, and then start the computer with the alienhead power button.

    whizzo your the man many thanks. as simple as that was I would have just kept pressing teh fn+f7 key all day ( I guess cause I know of those buttons naturally I would use them to go back to nivdia)
