Hope this helps someone, this is basically meant for those people, like myself, that tried all the different methods on this forum to get your laptop to run a game like crysis at max settings while on batteries. I tried the switcher program and registry tweaks and none did anything for me. I had to play crysis on medium while on battery because at higher settings my game would run very choppy.
Anyhow, what I did... This is for m15x owners, might help others too, not sure...
I pressed the alien flying saucer above my f11 key and went to the fusion option. I have my settings on "high performance" from there I went to the "advanced settings". From here, just basically change the settings to different components to get the most out of your components while under battery power. Has an option to reset to default values, so should be pretty safe to change things around and switch back if you don't like the way your computer runs.

I'm sure when you die, genius will die with you, but the rest of us aren't as gifted as you. I was reading through the forums and there are plenty of people who were not able to get any of the other methods to work for them.

From your picture, I'd say you're about 14. I've been on the internet and forums like this for 12 of your 14 years of life. I know when I'm trading barbs with someone.
Anyhow, I'm not here for that, just posting some info that someone in the future may find helpful. -

o lol nice i emailed chaz and now im thinking about mine
im sorry ok im sorry lol nobody is a noob

you can do it without using the saucer button. Actually in vista or xp there is power plans in control panel where you can change how the windows should spend the power and etc.

The game now runs on "high settings", *I have a 8700m gt* but I do still sense it lags a tiny bit. I play the game on very high settings when it's plugged into the wall. Gonna have to install an fps program to monitor the fps on battery vs. outlet.
CORRECTION: I see there are more options within "power options" within the Control Panel. They seem to be the very same options offered under the fusion advanced settings options. You learn something new every day. Thanks! -
Just curious, how many hours do you get out of your m15x when gaming on battery? Also, do you use two batteries(ie. Smart bay and standard battery?

(when i get approval i shall adjust my title....meanie!) -

Well u can try going to control panel/power options find edit plan setting then go to change advanced power settings, and then put cpu/gpu on battery 100%. hope that helps
Possible solution for those having trouble playing games on max settings while on batteries only
