    Potentially silly question. The m9750 is based on?

    Hey you guys!

    I was just wondering, what is the m9750 laptop based on, I knew that before the m15x, Alienware were just a boutique firm that customized existing chassis and stuff. Like rebranded Clevos and stuff like that.

    I do hope my question is clear enough, and I'd appreciate an answer if anybody knows.

    Cheers! :D

    aw chassis's are not rebranded from clevo. They are custom built for AW only so you cant get another laptop from another company with the same chassis like sagers and such.

    The reason I'm asking is because I saw Gophn's signature that read:

    :: CLEVO D900K (a.k.a. Sager 9750, Alienware m7700a) ::

    the older AW models were from clevo. AW currently uses Quanta. I think thats what the company is called.
