Alright, so I first noticed that the little battery icon says "78% available, not charging" when I was switching battery plans. I restarted my computer, and I got a little BIOS warning that said my power adapter is not the recommended one that shipped with my computer (see picture).

Will it never charge again? What can I do?!

    Thanks in advance!

    try the power drain trick,
    -shut down
    -unplug
    -take battery out
-press power button for 20 sec.
    - put back and restart

    see if that helps

Try the solution suggested above. Should that not correct it, if you are still under warranty, Dell will ship you a replacement adapter: if that is recognized, good, if not, it is a sign of a motherboard failure, which they then replace.

Didn't do anything... I'm now at 50% power.

I'll call and ask about the warranty now.

    Thanks guys.

I dunno if it makes a difference, but it wiggles a little when I plug it in...
