Looking under ATI cont. panel Information Center and Graphics Adaptor Window I do not see the X, but then in the information box it refers to the second linked adapter. I have seen so many screen shots showing the "X". Is this an issue?

    Running 8.52 M17

If I read that correctly, doesn't it show crossfire enabled?
EDIT: to add that I'm not familiar with the program, so I'm asking...

The first post was the control panel for ATI (not shown) were I have seen screen shots that showed HD3870 X ect...

This program shows first 512MB ram
Then refers to Cross Fire Enabled / Un-Sure Vista 64 Which is what I have.

if you want to see if your crossfire is working, download 3dmark06 and run it tell us what your score is and your cpu and we can verify if it is close to ours.
