After only a week of use the Flextronics power adapter has stopped working, the blue light will not come on, I had ordered a spare to keep in my bag, the one that died is Flextronics, the Spare is Delta and is working fine.
Just a heads up if you have one of the flex adapters you might want to get a spare?

Wow thats a bummer . Mines a Delta , hope it holds up

Yep.. Power adapters aren't immune to crapping out early
It's all under warranty though so If you don't need a spare then I wouldn't bother.
Dell sends replacement parts Next Day delivery so you shouldn't be out for more than a day or two... -
i agree with Sleey0 my m17 was amazing and i don't doubt flextronics for a second, sounds like u just got a dud

There sending me a new one tomorrow

My Flextronics is making weird noises, as if a bee or a fly was trapped inside whenever it's connected to the laptop. Did yours do the same before it died?

The buzzing noise could possibly be a grounding issue on your outlet. Try plugging it into a differet wall outlet.
Thanks,

mine was doing the same thing. I had it plugged into my APC UPS. Plugged it directly into the wall and no more buzzing sound. -
Do they require you to send in the old one, if you request a new one?

Mine quit, not having it quite a month yet. Interestingly, my power adapter is a Delta.
