I was wondering If a SSD with a higher power consumption both IDLE and under load, will draw a lot/how much more battery than a SSD which uses less power.

I was looking at the 256gb C300, and it turned out to use more power than ,for example, the Intel X-25. But how much does it really matter? If the differenace is noticeable, I would actually want the SSD which uses less power over performance. Any recommendations? Using a M11X, and might upgrade to a M14X later.

Check out the SSD section. There is a ton of informtion there on SSD's. From what I found they dont factor into battery life that much. Mine was getting the same battery life with SSD.
