    Hello

Im after some advice on powermizer. I have an M9750 and right from day one last year powermizer has never worked on any single driver I had had installed. If i monitor temps etc with riva tuner no matter what state the laptop is in it never ever down clocks. Even on power saver with battery. Any advice would be very welcome to this issue.

    Thanks

What driver's have you tested (if you can remember)? Powermizer is nearly always enabled in the modified inf that is optional to use; depending on the driver you chose, did you use the modded inf or the compliant inf? Have you tried using a driver cleaner to completely reset your gpu driver's installation or looking through the registry to see what the Powermizer settings are (blanking on the exact info, google :D)?

    Hello

Thanks for the swift reply. In response to your answer I have used every driver right back from 156 through all the 160's 170's to the present one im using 180.44. The majority of the drivers have been used with a modified INF and I even tried some official alienware releases all to no avail. Regarding installation I always uninstall then run driver cleaner then reboot and install new drivers. But never have got powermizer to actuall do anything at all.

    Cheers

I am on the go, but I will see if I can find information on what to check up in the registry for powermizer.
