I'm curious about the pre-installed Steam and Portal..

Does the game automatically tie into your steam account once you log on or do you have to make a new account?

I also wondered about the pre-installed World of Warcraft, is it just like a normal install fully updated, or is there some dirty trick about it?
    Thanks!

When I logged into Steam the first time on my M11x, it automatically stuck it on there. I was thinking they probably just add it to your list and you have to go download it, but it was already installed. But I'm not sure if it stays in your account because I already had Portal on mine. I was thinking I'd have an extra copy of Portal but nope. So not too sure on that.

And on WoW, they only installed up to 3.0. When you install from Battle.net, it only installs to 3.0 too, then it patches to 3.3.3.

Thanks, I was pretty curious about this when I ordered, my internet isn't really the fastest so every little bit already installed helps.

Anyone know how to get WoW on the M11x? It was supposed to come on mine, but somehow when my dell rep changed my normal order to a EPP he failed to check the WoW box.

You'll need to contact EPP Sales Support to discuss it. Have your order/customer #'s ready.

Log into your account on battle.net and click on your WOW account to open it. There's a full downloader/installer right there. Nothing to it but a little time.
