But it is a Japanese site, and there is no way I can switch language beside the auto google translate that build-in with Google Chrome.

What a waste, they should have put something like that in the US. In Japan they'll use those PCs for horse racing games and rpgs lol.

That's a neat concept, but a major turn-off that they chose Japan over the US for something like this. It would be cool to have an Alienware Arena in some of the gigantic, high-traffic shopping malls in the US. I think they would sell more systems if people could actually see, touch and use an Alienware before buying one. Buying something sight unseen off the internet is something many people will not do.

Here's how it works out. Not cheap, but could be worse.

Not surprising they opened this in Japan. How many of us actually even "GO" to US malls anymore? Unless we are dragged there by our gf/spouse, gamers probably order online more or just play online/download online release day.

Good point... But, if there was a legitimate reason (like this one) to go to the mall, I might make an exception. ;)

As far as ordering online, there are still lots of people that don't like the idea of buying something online they have never seen or touched before. Especially if that something costs $3,000 or more. That's one reason why places like Best Buy, Fry's and Microcenter are so successful. People will often settle for something inferior because (1) they are more familiar with it, and (2) they are ignorant of the fact there is something far better available.

Looks incredible, but since it's in Japan, I'll never get to see it :p

Shame it wasn't placed in the US ...like New York/California for example or even Toronto!
