The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

its better then its been. but when you consider a 2 gig stick is 20 dollars, even 2 x 4 gig sticks for 360 isnt such a deal. i know its cheaper then the going price. im just pointing out its grossly overpriced compared to a 2 gig stick. it cant cost that much more to make.

Yeah, they get these back in stock routinely (every week, every other week at worst).

    Prices will continue to fall.

But yeah, 2x2gb is SO cheap ($40) for good stuff 5-5-5-15 PC-6400 (800), there has to be a serious reason to go 8GB (and if that reason works for you and justifies the additional $300+, go for it). ;)
