Not cost-effective or even req'd for me, personally, but good to see it'd "getting there".

and they are sold out again.... bloody hell
-
i guess its just so popular.....

its better then its been. but when you consider a 2 gig stick is 20 dollars, even 2 x 4 gig sticks for 360 isnt such a deal. i know its cheaper then the going price. im just pointing out its grossly overpriced compared to a 2 gig stick. it cant cost that much more to make.

Yeah, they get these back in stock routinely (every week, every other week at worst).
Prices will continue to fall.
But yeah, 2x2gb is SO cheap ($40) for good stuff 5-5-5-15 PC-6400 (800), there has to be a serious reason to go 8GB (and if that reason works for you and justifies the additional $300+, go for it). -
VM's and video encodeing and decodeing thats bout it ...as far as use's. but if some one else is able to utilize 8 gigs of ram then lemme know so i can add it to the list
Price alert for people who wanna upgrade to 8GB =)
