    m9750= 1,399 :confused:

    but there getting cheaper and nicer.......m17x is actually starting to look appealing

    ha ha no i was just putting it out there. its now the same price as the white book and would be good if the upgrade to SLI didnt cost almost 1 k :(

    i got 1,399. its a great price. i heard that the cooling system on it is so different from any others. it intakes air from the front and release it from the back. can someone confirm?

    It starts at $1399 and with just a few simple changes it jumps to $1800+. I tried to configure the m17x close to the OCZ and it was coming out to $2200 vs $1800 .

    What processor in the m17x would be comparible to the base processor in the OCZ (P8600) being that they are different platforms?

    t8100 or t8300

    clock speeds about the same

    fsb make a bit of differnce so maybe t9300 :D

    i proably wrong though

    The biggest offender to me is the +$300 for the 1920x1200 LCD. Sick.

    Yeah, if you spec it similarly to a M17 (SLI 9800GT), it is more and older tech, not Quad compatible.

    Funny, on eBay, AW has 3 M-ALX systems listed (I still crack up at their 90 day warranty on refurbs and no option for an extended warranty) for a grand each maxed out sans the CPU (2.0, but a 2.4 desktop AMD is pretty cheap). Say what you want, but my M-ALX got me through Hurricane Fay when we were stuck down in FL. Those 3 days, I took my Priest in EQII from 30->40.
