    Well I bought this laptop off of a good friend of mine, who said "It doesn't work anymore"

    Well That is true, in a sense.

    I need some help; On Power on, There are 3 beeps. 1 Long beep, Pause, 2 short beeps.

    Now the beep code for my BIOS said that was "1-2 Search for option ROMs. One long, two short beeps on checksum failure"

    Now what could that be? I reset the BIOS, Nothing. Found out the CMOS battery was dead, Replaced it and Still nothing, What is it?

    Any help would be Appreciated.
