Problem reinstalling Windows XP Home Edition on M7700

Hi everyone, hope someone can help me out with this one

I tried to reinstall Windows XP Home Edition on my Area 51 M7700 but was unable to do so. I did exactly as directed in Alienwares Knowledge Base:

As I go through the steps I arrive at step 5 and am not able to aquire any of my two HDD's, after which I receive a blue screen saying the following message:

A problem has been detected and Windows has been shutt down to prevent damage to your computer.

If this is the first time you've seen this Stop Error screen... bla bla lba...

Check for Viruses...remove newly installed...Check HDD, configured, run Chkdsk...

I did all the above, but still no-go...
Any suggestions....?

Just want to make sure that you have updated drivers for RAID and SATA configuration ?
