    Problem using riva tuner

    I just received my laptop back today and went to run Riva tuner to check some settings when i noticed that I can no longer run this program ?! What am i doing wrong. I know before how to use it because its how i noticed my downclocking problems but now the option isnt available for me to monitor computer performance.

    have you re-installed it? that'd be the first thing i'd do.

    even before that, try running it as admin. (if you have UAC on)... might make things work...

    but reinstalling is a must.

    Remember that RivaTuner doesn't support the 8800M out of the box -- you have to edit that config file (though if you say you did this before then that shouldn't really be an issue... check anyway though, especially if you're gonna reinstall)

    It didnt show many setting for the 8800GTX too.But I got the latest version and it could show everything.

    May be your driver don't match the riva tuner.The driver has to pass on details to the application.So this is also anothier thing to note.
