it seems that i got this weird red image on my screen that doesnt really bother me but seems to jus annoy me lol. i was wondering if any of u know what it is and how to fix it. i mean when i turn off the computer it doesnt show up and the screen is black but when i have a plain black wallpaper as my desktop background for example, you're able to see it or when i watch a movie and the screen gets black. if u dont kno what im talkin about i left a pic for u guys to see. thanks for all the help

sounds like you got a bad screen with some stuck pixels. try running JScreenfix ( http://www.jscreenfix.com/basic.php). simply move the box with the flashing colors so it's under the affected screen area. it can help sometimes. otherwise, back to AW for a new screen i'm afraid.

yeah, i thought that too - especially since the pattern kinda looks like the negative of a keyboard. perhaps someone pressed the lid down onto the keyboard with, ahem, unnecessary force.
