About 2 weeks into owning the m15x i have a glaring problem that im not sure i could even fix on my own. When i hit fn+f8 to eject a disc, i hear the click that the disc was ejected but it doesnt come out of the slot. It just stays stuck in there. Its loose, for example if you then take out the entire bay after ejecting you can easily pull the slot out of the disc drive but it doesnt force it out a few inches like it did when i first got the system. Do i need to call AW support, is there a fix for this, or do i need to get another disc drive. This is pretty bad if it breaks down after 1 week.

Kinda sad in my opinion. Other than that i dont really have any complaints with my system.

    Any suggestions?

PS: after hitting eject, if i turn my pc on its side the disc drive opens. But it doesnt when it is sitting like a normal person uses there laptop :(

Mine sort of did this. Usually pressing the buttons a second time fixes it. I didn't reseat it but it started working again ha. I'd try reseating it and calling support

We apologize for this inconvenience, we will recommend to contact support to address this issue, if needed the agent will have the drive replaced.

    Thank you.
