    Anyone had any problems ordering from the Dell website i keep getting

    You could just order over the phone. In fact, I'd highly recommend doing so as you can bargain and get a better deal.

    Ill have to ring them tomorrow i got a really good deal using coupons etc ill be happy if they can beat it. In fact ill be happy if they match it even

    I would normally agree with you on that, but I just put an order in for the first time online through the EPP and I managed to get a better deal through there than I could have over the phone. I did, however, call afterwards and haggle free next day shipping. :)

    *Start with online chat, establish email, and finish with phone call.
    *This forces them to share email address. (critical if you need to return)
    *Easier to end a chat session
    *Easier to contact multiple times via chat. If you phone back you might get the same agent which could be embarassing if you are just kicking tires.
    *Less likely with a chat to be talked into purchasing before you are ready.
    *It all depends how you like to negotiate
