I got a problem, i wanted to try to disable booth the hybrid and the integrated option in the bios menu.
Now if i turn on my notebook without the ac adapter plugged, it goes on the integrated graphic card by itself, when windows is started i plug the ac adapter and it asks for a reboot to enable the discrete card, after the reboot the notebook is still on integrated, if i press the Fn+F7 to switch it asks again to reboot but still it doesn't change the card.
When i go to the bios menu i can see that the integrated card option got enabled by itself and my only option is to disable it manually to go back to the discrete card.

    Bios A03, nvidia driver 186.82, single 260m and 9400m.

This is normal and a function of the BIOS. You are not alone in saying its a bit awkward and annoying, but it is normal behavior. :(

A bit confused by your thread title.
Are you trying to disable all your graphics cards (both integrated and discrete?).

If you are trying to easily switch between the both then you need to have hybrid graphics enabled.
Boot off of AC and check in your bios to see if hybrid graphics is enabled.
Once enabled (if not already) continue into windows on AC power.
Once in windows check to see if you are on discrete or integrated graphics. (in windows 7 there is a handy icon in my taskbar that lets me know (one wave lit up if on integrated, both waves lit up green if on discrete).

Then try switching with Fn+F7 and see what happens.

If you have hybrid graphics off then it will only boot with what you have enabled (which in this case seems to be integrated).

Also, you could disable integrated and boot off of AC to run only the discrete.

Hope this helps (and makes sense).
