    Good morning,

Yesterday I experienced some 'snow' on specific colors(deep blue). The snow came up especially when I highlighted the files at the tab of 'downloads'. I tried to upload the pic here but when I looked at it in another laptop it's not showing any snow. Therefore, I believe it's the problem of the LCD I got on eBay.

Trying to isolate the problem here, I reseated the LCD inverters, connectors at the back of the screen, swapped the WXGA+ backs and forth, and I found no snow in WXGA+. Snow is all around in integrated graphics mode and it also appears in BinaryGFX mode. Therefore, I concluded it's the problem of the LCD.

I went ahead to talk the seller on eBay and he's saying I could not change the resolution. I believe he's ridiculous as the LCD inverters, and all the connectors should be the same for WXGA+ screens and WUXGA screens. Am I right?
