You will find the same problems at HP, Dell, Apple, Toshiba Lenovo/IBM...... need I go on? I work in IT I deal with that type of thing almost daily.

Welcome to a brief glimpse my life.

Way to endorse a brand that uses the same hardware as EVERYONE ELSE. Toughbooks are just s strong casing.

I never get why people haven't figured out that computers are like the Camaro and Trans-am. Different brands but it's just a different body on the same parts. If a Camaro has problems so will the trans-am, monte carlo, Nova, ect....

So just because they can't fix it and it's after 21 days, they'll just send you a refurbished system? That seems a little but like stealing on Dells part. You should fight them all the way. Also, I own an Alienware and I'm not stupid lol.

Just be persistant and adament that they send you a new replacement. Maybe it was just a driver issue. But continue with customers service and escalate until you get a replacement +upgrade. They let me return mine a little after the 21days for a full refund. I'd call Team Blackhawk.

There is nothing more frustrating than hitting a brick wall when attempting to resolve an issue. As pointed out by altecX, this can happen with any manufacturer. Fortunately, Dell does have a escalation team which deals with issues such as this. I encourage you to see the following thread and give that option a try.

If you would like to follow-up, feel free to post in that thread. Closing this thread.

Thanks and I hope it works out.
