I bought this laptop because I was under the impression aliens from outer space use the same design on their laptops.

However, after a little research, I cannot find any proof of aliens sharing any technology regarding their laptops. They are alleged to have helped with the pyramids however laptops ? Im not so sure.

Maybe someone was able to secretly observe aliens using a laptop and shared what they saw with Alienware and thus the design for the laptop came about that way.

Does anyone know how this design came about. Its really cool.

    :)

See this video - this is the background behind the current design we see today on the 11x, 15x and 17x models.

I have already seen this video.

This video does not answer the question of whether the design in the video was influenced by people from outer space.

    Alienware Info 411

"Established in 1996 by Nelson Gonzalez and Alex Aguila, Alienware assembles low to moderate performance desktops, notebooks, and workstations designed to look pretty. According to employees, the Alienware name was chosen because of the founders' fondness for the hit television series The X-Files, hence the theme to their products, with names such as Area-51, Hangar18, m15x, and Aurora."

Not sure where it came from, but judging by how easy it was for Jeff Goldblum to interface with their technology and upload a virus to their mothership to save the earth, I'd say he would be the best person to ask.

People that worked on the movie stated that the crashed spaceship at Roswell was the basis for modern computer systems. Making the uploading of the computer virus less ridiculous. The scene that was going to explain that got cut before the movie was released though.
