    Hey,

    I was wondering for those canadians who ordered an Alienware from dell.ca. Where did your laptop ship from? I was told that mine will be shipped from the states using Purolator but I thought Purolator was a canadian shipping company only that can get your package to the states but not pick items up from there?

    My Alienware shipped from the USA. I was actually talking to a purolator driver an hour ago and he told me that Purolator was trying to increase their world wide presence because as you say they are a Canadian company and have little presence elsewhere. Perhaps they dropped shipped at the border. I am not sure what city it was shipped from but like yourself I was surprised that UPS or Fed Ex was not delivering.

    How long did you find it took you to actually get it once dell confirmed the shipment of it? I was quite excited as the laptop case I ordered shipped from vancouver and I got it in two days.

    My laptop is supposed to ship today according to a customer service rep from dell. But I am hoping to get it by friday so I can play the starcraft 2 beta before it closes to actually see how the game runs at max settings :(

    They ship from Dell factories to Canada once they arrive in canada at the border they are officially picked up by Purolator then shipped out to your province. They don't actually travel by Purolator in the states. Thats why when you check your status online it will say on truck for delivery US and not update until it hits canada.

    I got regular shipping on my M15x, and like you was expecting it fairly quickly since the bag I ordered shipped from Vancouver and arrived in 2 days. Unfortunately it took exactly 7 days to get to me once the order had shipped from Dell.
