Hi guys! I'm on the verge of buying an m17x with a GTX 460M but I've heard the 560M is due sometime this summer. I realize it's only a slight upgrade. The thing is, I'm liking the price I have on the current build ($1694). Once the new GPU comes to the m17x, would the price increase? Decrease? Stay the same? Not sure how this would work since when I buy computers I usually stop looking at the site afterwards to avoid buyer's remorse.![]()
I've also heard the current lineup is 'on sale' in preparation for new components later this year. That true? If so then I'll snatch up my machine right now and forego the upgrades later this year. Thanks in advance!

If they put the M17x with GTX460M on sale I suggest you grab one. But if they don't put it on sale, wait for the GTX560M as the price will most probably stay the same as with the GTX460..Well at least other brands didn't change the price, I hope Dell doesn't cause that would really suck lol..As for performance difference, benchmark wise there's a decent gap, but I'm not sure how noticeable the difference is in real-world applications.

i bought mine now since the deals are too good to pass up! I got the GTX 460m and the 560m probably isnt coming out till september since thats when everyone is back in school and the summer/school deals end. By then the price will probably stay the same but with no deals or not great deals. Better to just upgrade later
