    Have R1 refurb that Alienware said we are building a replacement for you, anyone know are they new units,rebuild units, used parts..and where are they made? Anyone know, just wondering have picked up different hints on the forum about this but no for sure answers..Thanks :rolleyes:

    If it's an entire system replacement (R1->R2) it should be a new one. I got a new one as well as many others. Dunno, however if it's valid for R1 to R1 replacement.

    Yes entire system..seems to be a secret about what really go's on..from you been approved for a replacement to its shipped, lol. Almost no one knows for sure. Thought I'd ask since some people have been thru this several times. ;)
