    Hey guys...Im new here and I just purchased a laptop from alienware....the m15x. After I did all of the specs and confirmed my order...I went online to see if there were any reviews or anything on the PC. I came across the lighted keyboard......this is a very cool idea....BUT...I did not pay the extra $50 dollars for the FX thing...but I chose blue for my light colors...does this mean my keyboard will still light up but ONLY blue? Or will I have no color at all? Thanks in advance :)

    you will be able to change the colors for five zones (AW heads, touch controls, touchpad, light pipe), and your keyboard won't have anyhting. you can however order the lighted keyboard after recieving your machine.

    you say I could order the lighted keyboard after....would I send my computer back to alienware to have them install it...or do they send it in a do-it-yourself kit type of thing.

    they send it to you, you install with help from a walkthrough on the AW website.

    i think it costs 50$ to order it after purchase.
