Question: DPA - Logins from Unregistered Devices Online?

Does anyone else with a Dell Preferred Account have this issue?

I get emails once in a while saying that my account has been accessed from some unregistered device. I've changed my userID, password, and security questions, but it still keeps happening. My account information has never changed without my knowledge. No unauthorized purchases or anything on the activity. Just a bunch of emails saying it is being accessed about once or twice a month, but nothing happens beyond that. I always use Malwarebytes and other software to protect myself from malicious software. Scans say my PC is clean. None of my other accounts (email, bank, etc.) have been accessed. It's only my Dell Preferred Account.

1. Does Dell access your account when they process payments?
2. Do credit report companies access your accounts without notifying you?

I'm lost. I tried emailing them but they told me everything seems fine, lol. I tried calling twice but keep being redirected to Dell Sales.

EDIT: I'm going on the assumption that credit report companies like Credit Karma access my account monthly. Hope I'm right.

 

I have something similar happen all of the time with my Micro$haft accounts. If I login from the R2, then from the AW18, my Android phone or iPhone, even though all of the devices have been registered repeatedly, I get an idiotic message like that. If I switch from Chrome to IE it triggers it, and from IE back to Chrome triggers it again. Whenever Chrome updates, it triggers it again, and also triggers a security check with Steam where it is seen as a "new browser" and I have to input a code. Once in a while I have to input a new security code in order to download any new email messages from my Micro$haft accounts to my smartphones. This is extremely irritating and overkill on security. To me, any added security simply isn't worth the hassle of putting up with this kind of nonsense all of the time.

I am wondering the DPA account has some kind of similar security measures in place? I haven't logged into my DPA for probably a year, so I haven't run into this... yet.
