    Hello, I am from India and considering to buy an Alienware M18x, can you please tell whether you had to pay custom duty for the laptop or not. I am really concerned about how would I get the laptop on time.

    Yes, there will be customs duty charges levied importing it to India. You need to check specifics with your local airport authority. This information can ofcourse also be obtained online. Time of delivery with Sager resellers is usually rather quick enough, thus the least of your worries.

    Anyone from the international buyers purchased their International warranty.

    The only reason I wanna buy from them is that they provide International Warranty with 2 way shipping included. Granted that you can avail it only 2 times a year but it would be an awesome feature to have for me if I end up purchasing a sager or even an Alienware.

    So I just wanted to ask if anyone has availed their international warranty and how was your experience especially the turn-around time.

    Or are they like Mythlogic??? If they are then what is their logo or where is their logo on the lid???

    Our Clevo systems do not come with logos on the lid.

    Since no one chimed in about our HIDevolution Global Warranty option, we generally handle the return shipping (from customer to us) 2 ways, at our discretion:

    1) We provide the customer with a DHL prepaid return label. Simply pack up the laptop and/or parts securely, print and affix label to box, drop off at local DHL ship center (or arrange for pickup). Package should arrive at our facility within about 2-3 days, regardless of the customer's location within the world.

    2) The customer ships the package using his preferred courier service (government postal service, FedEx, DHL, UPS, etc). For most, the government postal service is generally considered to be the most economical. We reimburse the cost of return shipping back to our facility in California based on the USPS Priority Mail International rate and the physical weight of the package upon arrival at our facility (rate can be calculated at International Price Calculator). For example, if you are located in South Africa and the physical weight of the packaged item turns out to be 20 lbs upon arrival at our facility, we would reimburse you $134.50 (as of the date of this writing). Reimbursement would come in the form of a credit back to your credit/debit card or store credit towards a future purchase.

    Upon repair or replacement of your system and/or part(s), we would return the product back to the customer at our cost using our preferred courier service (usually FedEx or DHL but we reserve the decision to ship by United States Postal Service as well).

    After the 2 instances per year of 2 way international shipping has been exhausted, the customer would have to pay for return shipping back to our facility. We would continue to cover international return shipping back to the customer an unlimited number of times.

    I'm a foreigner student at Manchester, UK. I'm not a EU citizen.

    1. If I buy a laptop from Hidevolution.com, will all expenses covered upon checkout? Including tax, such as VAT.
    If I'm not mistaken imported items VAT, usually 20%, need to be paid before the item is delivered. I don't know if it also applies to foreigner.

    2. If I choose to ship it using FedEx instead of USPS, do I still need to pay 'the extra cost' upon the arrival of the item? Because from my experience using DHL, I always still need to pay some extra service cost when the item arrives.

    3.Also, why is the price of FedEx Economy is much more expensive than FedEx Priority upon checkout? I though Priority delivers faster than Economy?

    4.Is it possible to deliver my laptop to a different address, not my billing address? Because I have a non-UK credit card.

    5. Is there anything that I need to be prepare to pay if I choose a non-government carrier?

    6. Can you mark an item as a gift? If you can, by doing this, is it possible that it will reduce the likelihood of paying the extra VAT?

    7. Do you have any discount code?

    The chosen laptop is actually quite expensive, almost $3000.

    Bumping this thread to advise fellow members to abstain from doing any transactions with hidevolution. Not only did they lie to me multiple times regarding my item's status (which caused a 3 week delay), my GPU arrived defective with missing screws. Sent it back to them and never heard a single word from them anymore. And when I escalated the case to its final point, the seller immediately contacted me literally within minutes of me doing so and apologized for all the delays and lack of communications. They then demanded me to cancel the dispute in order for them to reissue a newer GPU. Taking the plunge, I complied with their request and decided to cancel the dispute. Have yet to hear anything from them ever since then. Pretty sure that at this rate I would never get either my gpu nor money back.

    this thread was started by another member who purchased an item fro HIDevolution, their business dealings, at least the ebay portion seems very hit or miss, and their customer service seems extremely shady if this is what they are doing towards this individual. Personally, id recommend another more reputable reseller. 10/10 avoid if possible.

    I advise against using this company's services.
    I ordered a laptop on June 19. It was supposed to ship in 5-7 days, however in almost a month's period nothing is shipped, my inquiries and calls about the order status are ignored.

    bump! not sure why there are some negative comments and reviews about them, but they have provided pretty good customer service for my past orders. just send them an email or you can directly chat with a representative right away.

    Its been amazing by the way. Ive been so busy with school since i got my laptop and playing some league of legends lol time to time at least. I love the laptop no complaints. only wish would be to get a desktop instead by i needed the laptop and travel to much so i needed the best of both worlds and service and quality has been great.

    Ordered a Razer Blade, late 2016 to Thailand from the HID-crew last night for about 2500 USD.
    Cancelled the order just now before any money was pulled from my card after reading this thread.

    Cannot really fault them for anything though, the whole deal just felt unsafe and I had my reservations putting in the order as Paypal would not work for sending the laptop to Thailand due to issues creating the shipping address. Thailand is not an option in the list.
    Having to use my card directly felt even more sketchy.

    Thanks for the heads up guys.

    I am aware of the time that has passed but its still the same company and staff, right?
    Not really interested in every story of a shipment gone right, its when something has gone wrong and the actions following.
    For instance, having communication issues with a seller is a major warning sign.

    Did not get any reply back from inquiring about shipment to Thailand on the [email protected].
    Special weekend and following days in the US because of the election, but still - an automated response should be the absolute minimum.

    Now, for anyone stumbling upon this ancient thread might want to disregard this post as I never really dealt further with them than putting in the order and cancelling the next day (no money pulled), upon which I got a prompt reply from [email protected] confirming my cancellation.

    Finally, I understand some customers can be literally delusional about what kind of service to expect and I do not envy anyone who sits at the receiving end of a customer support inbox.

    TL;DR, simply didn't feel comfortable with it. Simple as that.

    Edit: Corrected a spelling mistake on the ebay-address.

    Secondly, their email is [email protected] and [email protected] . I am not sure if that eBay email you mentioned is monitored by anyone.

    Hi, I have some questions regarding shipping to Dubai, UAE.

    I'm looking forward to getting a GT72VR Dominator Pro-288 (With the 120 Hz G-Sync panel) from HIDEvolution around January 2017.

    I have never ordered anything from outside the country before, so I would appreciate it if someone could tell me the process and an estimate of how much the shipping and customs taxes would be please? The only thing I know for sure is that I have to do a wire bank transfer regarding the payment.

    The build time depends on the stock, when the stock WAS available for my system, they shipped it within 2 days but don't quote me on this, it differs depending on the amount of orders they are handling but they are usually the fastest. What's more interesting is, even if you choose the standard shipping, which by the way is very well priced as they have special discounts with FedEx / DHL, you will get your machine within 2 business days max!

    Their quality control is superb so you are sure to receive a perfectly working laptop
