I am currently planning to do a clean install of windows 7 64 bit on my 32 bit windows 7 m15x. i don't have a problem with wiping my hard drive clean but i have a question.
What are some drivers that i would HAVE to download after my system is and upgraded?

id probably download all the main drivers first

eg. Video, Audio, Network, WiFi, OSD, CC...these are the main ones

You should check in the Alienware My Hive (support section) and download the drivers for Win 7 64 bit OS. You mainly need the chipset driver, Video and Audio drivers, Command center (for AlienFX), OSD utility and network adaptor driver. I am not sure if they have released a different driver than the exisiting one in Vista x64 for all of these, but I surely have seen OSD for Win 7 x64 in My Hive.
