I got some questions that I feel need clarification, regarding the m11x.

    1) Is there no option in the bios to only use 'integrated' graphics only?

    2) Is there a way to use both the newest Intel and Nvidia drivers for the m11x without trouble, or decrease in battery life, so far?

It's important that one can use the newest and best drivers for both the Intel and Nvdia card, and not suffer any drawbacks. What's the best approach to this?

    1) In the bios you can disable switchable graphics and it will stay on integrated. Why would you though? Simply turn it off through the FN+F6 feature.

    2) You can use the most up to date drivers from Dell's site. They are updated as of now but I hear new drivers are coming out soon.

The drivers are fine for now, I only know of 1 game that crashes due to stock drivers.

I was thinking that if you boot with 'integrated' enabled, Windows would only see the Intel card, and one could install the newest drivers for that card. Then one could boot with only 'discrete' enabled, and again, install the newest drivers only for that card.

Then at least one would have the newest drivers for both cards, but maybe lose the switchable graphics option via software/keyboard. One could then switch via bios only. It's just a workaround in order to avoid problems with old or immature hybrid drivers.

Not sure if it made sense, but I've seen some people complaining over the drivers so far. The best would be to have the Optimus technology from Nvidia, but it's never gonna happen on this revision of the M11x.

Theres no reason Optimus won't work if nvidia or dell decides to release it. I don't see a revision to the M11x for a while. They just launched it. Maybe in another 6-8 months.

It seems the M11x needs a new motherboard in order to support it.
