This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Ram Disk?

    I've installed 4gb into my m15x. The system recognized 4gb, only addresses 3gb.

    Does anyone remember the last days of DOS when we could create a "Ram Disk" in extended memory? I'd like to do this and then move my pagefile.sys to it. Wouldn't that make for faster operation? (instead of paging to the HDD.)
