Hello this is my first post to the forums. I recently ordered an alienware m15x with only 1gb of ram because the prices they charge are outrageous and I figure it would be cheaper to upgrade myself. I was wondering if anyone could help me in choosing what ram to buy to upgrade. I want to upgrade to 4bg of ram and keep the cost close to $110 at the most. If there is a good reason to go over that amount then it's okay. Hope to hear back soon. ty

I am in the US. sorry

Ok, wait just a second... both these guys are signing their posts "Ty"

Dude! What is the ISSUE with buying memory?!?! Just get it from AW pre-installed in your system. At this rate, I'd be afraid you might electrocute yourself trying to install it anyway.
