The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

Are the techs who facilitate repairs responsible for problems which would come up as a direct result of them working on your computer? - I had a tech at my house today who stripped out some holes on the bottom service plate, i had to use duct tape to keep it on
tl;dr - should i call alienware support or said person who worked on my computer - I dont have a screw or tap small enough for said hole.

stop messing with it and call tech support and file a complaint they will send a replacement cover but if it is the base than they will have to send a tech out to replace the base either way call it in.
