    Hello

I already posted a while back regarding collecting info on peoples 3870's GPU's as AW are trying to rob me but I only got one reply. So im gonna ask again that anyone who has 3870's in their laptop please please spare me a couple of mins and let me know the serial numbers and bios versions of the cards as this is the only way I can prove to Dell that AW are blatantly robbing me.

If your interested in what has happened then have a read of the post below.

Thanks for any help I receive on this matter.

    Bump

Honestly can not one person help me out with this. Without these details AW will get away with keeping my 4850's that I paid for. I only need 3 or 4 people to help me out. So far I have had one person kind enough to help me and for that im grateful.

Come on lads it will only take you a couple of mins

    Cheers

I wish i could help you but cant. But i have a suggestion for you if you were to title your thread with your exact request it might catch the eyes of 3870 owners.Read your story when you first posted that's garbage.Probably your cards are sitting in some techs lappy.Anyway good luck .

wow, just read your story.. sorry to hear they've been treating you like they had.
You could pm batboy in order to change the thread's name.
i have a friend that i believe has 3870 cards in his laptop.
How do you go about checking their serial number and bios version ?

If I had any experience with a situation similar to yours, I would try to help you out. The way I figure you would rather have someone post something useful to you than simply another "man this sucks" comment...

    Hello

I didnt order outside alienware. Its a genuine M17 that came from AW with ATI 3870's fitted. They are trying to say that the 3870's did not come from them.

To get the bios version just use gpu-z and it will show all the information including the revision number and manufacturer.

    Cheers

    Aren't there invoices?

Both for the purchases, and the work done?

I've never sent anything over to the depot, but isn't there paperwork that accompanied the machine?
