    Hands up for probebly the mpst stupid question to ever grace this forum

    But having just received a M17x replacement from Dell for the faulty XPS M1730.

    I cant find how to use shift Insert! im used to dells.

    theres INS on the 0 of the num pad but doesnt work with shift.

    Im loving the Alienware but hope someone can put me out of my misey :confused:

    You had me stumped for a while. I was searching for a good five minutes.

    Ive tried it afew times, doesnt apear to be working, have had to right click and paste,

    will have another go, maybe im pressing shift and 0 wrong if thats possible :confused:

    the insert on the numpad is used when you have the numlock off not on. turn off numluck and hit the 0 (insert) key to use it.

    Ok Found the solution it doesnt work if NUM Lock is on!

    Really enjoying the new system, its just a shame that i couldnt get Dell to replace the 8gb ram i just bought for the m1730.

    trying to sell that now but it wont come close to price of DDR3 ram.
