    Recommend a gaming headset for m15x?

    I have been searching for gaming headsets that would be compatible with my m15x. The ones I have my eye on are the Razer Megalodon for the simplicity of use and setup but I do like the Tritton AX Pro because it has true 5.1 surround with 4 speakers in each ear.
    Problem is I have no idea if the tritton would work with my m15x right out of the box and there have been mixed reviews for the megalodon.

    Can anyone recommend a great gaming headset that I can also listen to superior sounding music on and will last awhile?

    I have the Logitech G35 and it sound great. Good bass and 7.1 surround.

    I second the Logitech G35. Using it for Left 4 Dead 2 and it rocks. Also using it for mixing a surround sound show; nothing like hearing the results first-hand versus having to dry run it constantly.

    I got mine from Amazon (had to pay for shipping because it's not sold direct from Amazon :( ). NewEgg has it too, free shipping but $20 more.

    If you want something more "middle of the road", try the Creative Fatal1ty headset. Only $50, and it's Prime Shipping elgible at Amazon. :) (Best investment I ever made, more than paid for itself in the first month).

    I'm gonna vote for the G35 too. Got it with my M15x and its been a match made in heaven so far. Nothing like completely geeking out your set up to maximize your game experience : )

    If you're prepared to go down the path of ultimate sound quality and you're prepared to pay for it when I'd recommend a pair of Bose headphones.

    If you can't get Bose headphones then I'd recommend a pair of G35s.

    I had a pair of those. Mic didn't work from the start. After about a month sound was going faulty in one side. Soon swapped them for something else.
